Nishanti & Karthik
Our wedding was held at the Tank Road Thendayudhapani Murugan Temple hall. The most memorable part of our wedding was definitely the thaali tying (nuptial knotting) and the RELIEF which followed it. YAY!! We also enjoyed our photoshoot with friends and family. However, we could not wait for it all to be over, we were starving! It was heavenly when we finally sat to eat. Listening to both side parents, and getting them to agree on some things like the rituals to keep and those we could possibly compromise, were definitely a challenge...haha! We did not imagine selecting the wedding outfits (especially the wedding saree) could be this tough as well.

We got to commend ourselves for braving the disagreements and having open conversations about what was most important to both families and making decisions based on our priorities and constraints.
We do wish we could have limited our guest list.
There was one thing we thought well for the wedding, which was to move the arasani kutchi from the centre of the stage to the side after we were done with it. This allowed for unhindered view to guests and photographers. We had a few interesting additions to the usual menu like cucumber juice, pizza and panneer flavoured samosas which were well received. YUM!!
